Code of Conduct Auditor
General:
H&M Code of Conduct is H&M’s long term commitment, which together with suppliers aims to improve and develop the working conditions in its factories and to protect the factory workers’ human rights as well as minimize environmental impact of production.
Position:
The position of Code of Conduct auditor requires that you are self-driven but also able to work in a team. As this the position combines auditing and education of suppliers, good communication skills and a willingness to explore and critical attributes. Other important factors for success are integrity, loyalty and honesty.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out CoC audits for the purpose of Code of Conduct compliance
• Write audit reports • Analyze and discuss FAP/FUP results within the team
• Review documents, monitor Health & Safety compliance and chemical safety
• Communication of findings, remediation needs and law requirements to factory and relevant internal departments
• Maintain current industry, initiatives and compliance information
Key requirements:
• Good command of written and oral English
• Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel and email)
• Willing to travel frequently in the whole of Mainland China
Preferred experience or skills:
• Experience of social compliance auditing
• It is an advantage if you are familiar with environmental issues & labor laws in China and its recent development
• Experience of production processes in the garment and / or accessories industry
• Experience of assessing environmental impact of industrial waste
