Job Description
POSITION : Social & Environmental Regional Support, DSAP
DEPARTMENT : Distribution Service Asia Pacific (DSAP)
LOCATION : Shanghai
REPORTING TO : QSE Manager, DSAP
RESPONSIBILITIES :
01. Coordinate the Social and Environmental work in Distribution Services Asia Pacific
02. Evaluate, report and review the S&E performance of carriers, Distribution Centers and ESPs
03. Monitor DS Asia Pacific units and ESPs compliance with S&E demands (basic demands,
staircase models demands...)
04. Support the implementation process within DS Asia Pacific
05. Support in planning,developing and implementing regional S&E action plans and goals related to
global strategies
06. Conduct all S&E related training programmes within the DSAP region
07. Be the contact person for all S&E related issues within DS Asia Pacific 08. Monitor development locally, e.g. S&E legislation, technical developments that could contribute to
goals achievement
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of the Social & Environmental pre-requisites in the Distribution and Transport Area
2. Good understanding of the supply chain and its impact on the environment
3. Knowledge of relevant Social & Environmental rules and regulations
4. Understanding of the Transport industry
5. Fluent in English and local language
6. Ability to create insight by communicating; presenting and motivationg others in Social &
Environmental issues
7. Ability to work, co-operate and report in a matrix organisation 8. Team player 9. Self driven
10. Able to work independently
